With Google Maps you can search for Restaurants, Hotels, Coffee, Banks, Parking lots, Gas stations, Post offices, Hospitals, Groceries, and many other places.
There are 3 different views you can choose from, Map, Satellite and Terrain. There is also Globe, traffic, transit, Bicycling and Street View options available.
You can set Notifications for the time to leave a place for regular and scheduled routes.
There is also an option to share your live location with others.
You can label your places, save places, check places you have visited and also create your own map.
You can contribute to Google Maps to make it better. You can share your reviews, photos, verify facts and collect points while you do this.
The best feature that many people are not aware of is the Timeline. It shows you the history of where you’ve been at what time. This helps you be aware of the places you visited. You can enable or disable this.
