Google News is the ultimate news aggregator website that you will ever need on the Internet. You will get to see the latest headlines from various newspapers and agencies across the world.
Google News is an automated news aggregator (grabbing) site which shows news from various website within the last 30 days window. It was released in March 2002 and came out of the beta phase in January 2006.

To access Google News you just need to visit http://news.google.com and it will show the correct edition for your country. You can always change the country from the option available on the page and also change the way you want the news to be displayed on your screen everythime you visit the site.
If you are following a particular news then you can also subscribe to Google News Alerts @ http://www.google.com/alerts. This ensures that you will get notified with all the latest news articles across the world about the topic you choose.
At the top of the Google News screen you will see an option to Edit this page even if you are logged in to your Google account. Here you can change the different news column as it appears on the page. You can rearrange the different news section the way you want to read it. Once you are done you can simply click “save layout” or click on reset page to default if you want it to appear the way it was before you made changes.
Next to the Edit this page option you will notice one more thing, which is “Add a section” wherein you can choose from thousands of topics and sections that you want to add to the Google News page which interests you.
