For the past 12 hours I have been facing issues with my Airtel Postpaid connection. I get error message that the Sim card registration failed!
It has happened to many of my friends and they are not happy neither am I 🙁

Anyways when my brother called up the Airtel customer service he was told that there is a major upgradation going on. And that is the reason why many of the people are getting the error – Sim Card Registration Failed on their mobile phones.
I also came to know that things with the BSNL customers are no good, they are getting the same error on their handsets.
This is ridiculous because it has lasted for a very long time and I am still facing the same problem.
What you can do to resolve this issue is:
- Switch Off your mobile phone
- Take out the SIM
- Wait for a couple of minutes
- The reinsert the SIM and check if it works
- If it does then good for you
- If not then just wait until the whole ruckus comes to an end
FYI I am from Bangalore, Karnataka! Do share your experience if you are one of those Airtel customers who are experiencing problems with their SIM card and the network.
