Seth Godin is the creator of the Squidoo.com and is a very popular figure on the Internet. This post is about a plugin that was inspired by him and created by Richard K Miller.
The concept of Cookies has been implemented in this plugin to determine who is a new visitor to your blog and who isn’t. By using this WordPress plugin called as “What Would Seth Godin Do” you can create personalized messages for the first time visitors. The WordPress plugin is otherwise known as WWSGD.

Apart from welcoming new visitors with a special message you can also do the same for the return visitors. This formula does work with many people, though it may sound automated it is better than not identifying them at all.
Of course the browsers need to be set to accept cookies from your blog, majority of the users will have it that way.
1) Search the Plugin with the keyword “Seth Godin”
2) Install the plugin
3) Activate the plugin
4) Customize the plugin settings
Also you can set the “welcome Message” displayed anywhere in the template by adding this code “
<?php wwsgd_the_message(); ?>”
Download and Install the plugin : What Would Seth Godin Do

Hey, this is Kamal and I operate the NPXP network of websites. I am a blogger as well as a freelancer.
Never heard of this plugin but sounds like worth a try plugin !
What this plugin will do for visitors who have deleted their cookies? Enlighten me
Well if the cookie is deleted then I assume that visitor would be counted as new. But I really doubt if the majority of the Internet users at least from India do that often
Oh, I found it, thanks
I can’t find the area where I can customize the plug in settings. I installed this tonight but can’t find the settings page. I added it onto my thesis theme but don’t see anywhere where I can change some of the message. Can you please help me?
