Twitter is now the fastest mode of News source on the Internet. If you are smart enough and use Twitter effectively with your website or business then you can benefit a lot.
So in order to help the NPXP readers out there I have come up with 10 things you should not do with your Twitter account ever:
1) Do not continuously Tweet for more than 5 times in an hour especially with links in it, except for the cases where it is very much required for you to tweet in a fast pace.
2) Do not Tweet Links or the same information over and over again, for obvious reasons.
3) Do not Tweet using text with the SMS lingo such as: Hw r U?
4) Do not Follow every person who follows you.
5) Do not make it a habit of Tweeting everything about your personal life.
6) Do not use Cuss words while you want to Tweet your frustration on some person or a thing.
7) Do not forget the upload your Profile picture on your Twitter account.
8 ) Do not send a Direct Message on Twitter asking someone to buy a product.
9) Do not forget to place a “Follow me” or “Follow Us” button on your blog or site.
10) Do not forget that your Twitter account is subject to Ban if you do not follow some basic ground rules.

i agree with your points. However can you elaborate the last point ? What are these basic rules ? Also i don’t agree with 3rd point.. since we r limited to 140 chars why not use sms lingo to convey your point ?

It simply means that you let’s say deal with Webmastering stuff and the person who followed you is a niche blog creator and a specialist in Weight loss.
Your stream will be cluttered by his weight loss tips and ideas. So you still wanna follow him?

I agree with you, as there are many useless twitter accounts who simply follow, without having a good timeline or even sometimes nill.
