Tag Friends in Facebook Status Update

Do you know that you can tag your friends inside a Facebook Status update or posts!

By doing this your friends profile link will be automatically added within their name in your status.

This is one of the less known features on Facebook and I’ll show you how to tag your friends in a Facebook Status message.

Did you try this: Get Facebook Email

Update: Now you don’t have to type @name you can simply type in the first few letters of the person whom you want to tag and that’s it.

You can also delete the last name (partial name) if you would like by following this method and not the @ method.

Facebook status tag

1) Just type the symbol “@” without a space type in your friends name.

2) You don’t have to type the complete name

3) As soon as you type @ and then the starting letter of your friend’s name you will get a dropdown menu with a list of friends name starting with that letter.

For example: @J can give you a list of your friends name (first or last) that starts with the letter J…

Also Try: Facebook Upside Down

Simple huh? So go try it out now and mention the name of your friend and see what happens.

When you tag a friend in a Facebook status update their name with the profile link gets displayed for others to click on it. Also the person whom you will tag will get a notification that you have tagged them in a status update.
