Hey, this is Kamal and I run the NPXP network of websites. I am a blogger and also do other online stuffs.
The only way you can truly get a random number is by rolling dice
That is the great way to organize any contest, very interesting i fully enjoyed your blog.
Are these numbers really random though?
I read once that it was impossible for a computer or a software program running on one to really select numbers at random. I read that the usual way for a random number generating program to do this was to actually use some mathematical formula crossed with some algorithm that causes the numbers to appear as if they were random. In true reality though, the programmers could recreate the exact same sequence of numbers with another iteration of the software program on a different computer.
Thanks for the tips! We are going to organize some contests and we need a random generator to choose the winner. Now we need to choose a site for that
