I surely do not like my blog content to be copied by anyone else. But if anyone would want to do it then I shall let them do it on one condition. I want them to mention the original source of the actual content.
It doesn’t matter if you want to copy content from Npxp.com or anywhere else on the web. Make sure that the original author is given credit to in the form of a hyperlink to the article source.
- Everyone who is on the Internet would love to read something Unique. So research from various sources and write original articles.
- Refer other articles and rewrite it according to your understanding without looking at the original article. This will make sure that the content you write is not duplicate.
- It is meaningless and not a good behavior to claim articles as yours when you did not write it. There is no second chance with this attitude.
- Using articles from Article sources such as Ezine is alright. But few modifications would fetch you a little love from Google.
- If you are a blogger and wants to avoid automatic scraping then take care of your RSS feed. Limit the number of characters from full view in the Readers to preview.
- Be tolerant to the person who is copying content from your blog. Patience and Silence achieves the objective easily. First send an email to that person. Second inform that you are going to file a complaint with DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act). This should scare him off a little. If he is persistent and doesn’t heed to your request then go ahead and file a complaint with DMCA complaint for real.
Share your experiences about the Content Scraping of your blog or any info that will come in handy for the new bloggers. Anyways you can Buy Original Content if you are too lazy to write articles on your own. Plagiarism is not a major threat to Bloggers but more of a menace on the Internet.

Hey, this is Kamal and I operate the NPXP network of websites. I am a blogger as well as a freelancer.
I agree with what you have written here, but may say that if you get your content indexed by search engines once you have post it, copying your content by other people will not harm you or your position in search engines. Google and other engines always look for original content and once they have indexed this content, the duplications appearing on other sites are regarded as purely duplications, and are given much less weight. That is, if someone will look for your content in Google according to your keywords, your site must be before all other duplicates, because it’s original. So even if you come across cases of plagiarism lest assured that in terms of SEO the person who copies hurt themselves in the first place, as Google may ban sites that contain too much duplicate content.
My blog is plagiarized by one site every day and I have not been able to do anything to stop it from happening including contacting the ISP and domain hosting companies. I am very frustrated when other sites steal your content which you work hard to produce only to have it cut/pasted verbatim to benefit some other site which didn’t put in the effort.
Until now no one copied content from my blog. But I regularly check Copyscape to verify whether anyone has copied my content.
Copyscape is a very essential tool like you have mentioned @ Bloggingtips
Other bloggers can also follow the suit and try to see if someone is copying your blog’s content. as well.
