Interview With Harsh Agarwal (ShoutMeLoud.com)

Encounter With: Harsh Agarwal

Harsh Agarwal is an Indian blogger who blogs at ShoutMeLoud.com. He is one of the famous bloggers in India. He earns a lot from Online and when I say a lot the sum is huge (more than 3k$).  I guess this intro is more than enough for you to know who the person is.

So here is the Interview with Harsh Agarwal, 9 straight questions and 9 straight answers. So let’s dig into his life a little.

shout me loud

1) When did you use the Internet for the first time?

I used Internet first time when I was 14 year old. My first experience was thrilling as I got a popup saying I won million $ and I could not accept it because I didn’t had any Email address. Later on I realized that was spam pr advertisement pop-up.

2) What do you do Online? (blogging, Internet marketing etc)

I’m mostly into Blogging and affiliate marketing. I also offer various services like Blogspot to WordPress migration, Thesis customization, WordPress SEO and WordPress maintainance.

3) Do you earn Online and how long do you work?

Initially I used to work like 16 hours a day but now I work hardly 6-8 hours a day. Hell yah! All my income is  online Income. Mostly from Blogging, Affiliate marketing and WordPress services.

4) Do you Work/Study apart from the online work?

Study is something which one should never leave. I mostly spend my time reading entrepreneurship and marketing stories and books.

5) How old are you and do you own a vehicle?

I’m 24 and I bought my First car recently from my online income.

6) Be frank and tell us if it was easy to start earning online initially?

It’s not and when people say learn money making in few days, stay away from it. If I teach you to cook food, you can cook food but you can’t be sure you can cook as delicious as me. Same thing is in online marketing. This is something which should be in your attitude and nature and then only you can make money. For me it took almost 5 months to make first online income and that was 10$.

7) Where do you want to be 2 years from now?

I always dream of becoming one of the India’s youngest entrepreneur. I dream of setting up vast empire of blogging and affiliate marketing around me. My goal is to promote Blogging as an industry in India.

8 ) Do you read other blogs and which is your favorite website apart from yours?

I try to read as much as I can, This helps me to keep updated and more over give me lots of ideas for new posts. I read Quickonlinetips, labnol, dailyblogtips and many more.

9) You wanna tell us something (Anything) about surviving online?

To survive online, one thing which you should always carry is honesty. If for few $, one tries to scam someone, his credibility is lost and that’s the end of world.

That’s all folks!

i was searching about harsh and i found this, i think you should read this : http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100725023434AAvCz7a

    • Hi Tia,

I read that and I don’t think the claims are true. He is a good person and I approved this comment because I just wanted to be transparent with this issue.

    • Hey Tia
Thanks for comment and I had a look at that thread. Thanks to Google alerts :)
I will rather call it waste of time to comment on that thread a Yahoo Since I saw those two profiles which posted comment and answered about it.
1 hour diff between q & a and more over the best part those two profile have already asked 1 q and a… So its needless to say.. Why that thread was created and what profiles are they.
Though thanks for bringing this in notice. :)

      • I don’t agree with that ques and ans. Harsh is a nice person and he write nice articles related to blogging on his blog.

I think he used to do such things (copy and paste) in his early days of blogging because I read one post on SML in which he apologies for that but I personally didn’t read any copy paste article on SML.

SML is like a community for all bloggers. Number of comments and Advertisement slots on his blog shows his popularity, they are always full :)

      • LMAO! Those two profiles are damn fake. I’m a regular user of Yahoo! Answers. Both the Question and the answer generated by an individual person I believe. Needless to say, Harsh Agrawal is a great and unique guy in Blogging Field!

Nice interview Harsh! Thanks Kamal! :)

    • Lol I read SML’s every post nowadays..its quite unique what Harsh posts & he is a good person too :-)
