This is a question that people whom I know and are into article writing have asked me many a times at some point of my freelancing journey. I have many clients whom I constantly supply with articles of different niche (categories) for their blogging needs.
I will try to help you understand the basic concepts which influence a lot, when you are writing an article. You will definitely feel good at the end of this article and also be encouraged to write better articles.
- Always make sure that you refer to other articles that are already present on the web through Google. Try to analyze what makes them rank so well. Do not just rewrite it completely; you can surely get into trouble at some point of your article writing journey.
- Nobody said that the Titles should always be small. If you think it is true then you are wrong. Make it as meaningful and descriptive as possible.
- The pattern of the keyword usage and the number of times it has been used in an article should be taken into account. It really doesn’t mean that you have to use this trick every time you write articles but at least the first few weeks maybe will be beneficial.
- Don’t stuff in keywords over and over again in your articles. Make sure you know that you are not overdoing or even stressing too much on a fact until it starts to lose its essence.
- Keep it short and sweet. So what exactly is “Short” and “Sweet” with reference to this context? It simply means that you should – write it for the normal human beings who are good in English.
- If you are writing quality articles for your own blog then you should put in more effort and try to customize according to your blogs need.
- Unlike the essays that you have written during your School and College times, the articles that you write for clients or for your blogs are different in many ways. If a person is going to buy articles from you then you should show him your expertise in whatever the niche that he needs.
- Mistakes happen even after you proofread the article for many times. So what would it be like if you never proofread it at least once.
- I would just want to conclude this post by saying this – Do not ever copy/paste blindly from other blogs with no or less modifications. Plagiarism is a crime.
