Gmail Please Find The Attached File

How smart is you mail service? Is it as smart as Gmail? I bet no :) After all it’s from Google.

This new feature of Gmail warns you to attach a fail if you  “do not attach a file” in your mail but mention that you have attached one in the message body. Sounds confusing??

Still don’t get it? Follow these steps and experience it first hand:

1) Compose Mail

2) Type in the email address and a subject

3) In the body of the message type – “Please find the attached file” or “find the attached”

4) Don’t attach any file

5) click on “Send”

6) PoP :p Do you see the message?

Take a look at this picture:

We love gmail and these kind of things just makes it the most awesome email service on the Internet.

  1. Fine, except they never fixed the basic problems with this feature, even after going fully public with it. Lots of people pointed this out in the only place made available for such things, the Google groups discussions.
