Google finally decided to update the toolbar Pagerank and it came in as a surprise, almost..

People started to believe that Pagerank update has been stopped and it would be scraped out. All over the Internet webmaster forums had numerous threads since April 2010 stating that PR was dead.

Google Pagerank as you might know is DEAD or at least it seems to be.

There has been no proper update after April 1st 2010 and Google does not have a very good reason about it anyways.

Pagerank Update in 2010 has been the most inconsistent so far!

Here is a chart that I found that was supposed to be the PR update schedule for this year.

Pagerank Update has happened but only for the internal pages of sites and blogs. I guess Google Pagerank Update is going to happen this month for the homepage.

I only wish that the pr update happens or it would be such a waste of time for us to wait for this long. It’s been more than 6 months since there was a major Pagerank update.

The internal pages have got PR from N/A to 0 in most of the cases. I was surprised to see that some of the internal pages on my blog has got PR1. It is a good sign provided the Google Pagerank Update happens without fail this November 2010.
