Akismet has serious problems with blocking regular, active commentators and a configuration setting that automatically deletes comments before you can even see them. I’ve written a bunch of posts about it.

That is why I’m researching bad behavior – trying to find out if it is the solution I need and whether it has any bad habits.

Using two plugins for comment moderation alone. May be it will do good in terms of spam comments. But check for your blog loading time mate. Using many plugins will increase your blog loading time.
