These are the 5 tips you can use on your website or blog to rank well on Google.
I am keeping it short and straight to the point cos nobody likes a boring big article, right?
1) Write titles of your post with at least 3-4 keywords in it. Don’t use words which confuse the people, keep it short and descriptive. Choose the obvious keywords or key phrase that people will type in Google to find your article. A title with less than 60 characters is good.
2) If the word count of your articles are less than 250 words then you are slimming the chances of ranking well on Google.
3) An article should contain a set of main keywords, related keywords and synonyms for a better visibility on the search engine results page.
Note: Remove popups and popunders to increase ranking.
4) The first sentence (Approx 160 characters) of your article is critical because Google indexes it as well. So if you feature the keyword(s) in the first sentence then Google will definitely count it as a plus point.
5) Interlink a post that you are gonna write to some other article which is already published. And also interlink an old post in the new article that you are gonna publish.

This is some important things to take care of in order to rank well on search engines. Ranking on the first page for a competitive keyword is a little difficult if your blog has no authority on the subject.
On the other hand it’s quite easy to rank 1 on page 1 of Google if there is limited competition. I guess that have triggered an idea in your mind.

Yes some very interesting points. I would also agree with the fact that some people do make articles too short which causes them problems with ranking.

Nice points and summarized in a refined manner, keeping it short and simple, but don’t you think that most of the topics don’t do justice with just 350 words, I find it very hard to go under that word limit or else you end up losing the details of the post..
