I would like to mention this before I start off with this list. Blogs as we know it as, is also known as “weblogs” which was a term coined by a guy named “John Barger” in 1997. It’s been more than 13 years since the earliest form of Blogs emerged out of nowhere.
So it is very obvious that the methods and ideas that you find it here and elsewhere are more or less has existed for a very long time. Information and Tips about things like ‘How to make money through blog’ or maybe ‘How to become a famous Blogger’ is retold several thousand times across the web.
The matter of the fact is, somewhere in the corner of this world a blogger is constantly making cash using these basic steps with or without some modifications.
Do not make a pass on this particular blog post if you are a serious blogger who wants to establish as a pro blogger.
- Choose WordPress if you can’t afford time or money for a customized blog platform (Which many don’t).
- Avoid hosting your blogs on Free Hosts, use Hostgator instead. Don’t go for Free Domains if you can afford to buy a decent .com domain of your choice.
- Learn about using WordPress effectively before you actually start Blogging.
- Use the right themes and Plugins if you are on WordPress. This can help you a lot without much effort.
- If you want to earn money then don’t blog about something which doesn’t interest the Loyal blog readers.
- Write blog posts which are inter related to ones which are already published. So that you can interlink posts within your blog to keep the readers inside the LOOP.
- Don’t write small articles, be elaborative and make it a point to reach 250 words+ each time you write a post.
- Blogging is all about you writing stuffs and receiving comments about it. So make sure that the articles are comment worthy.
- Be active and comment on other related blogs to yours. You should not remain unnoticed in the Blogging community or else you will be Lost forever.
- You and your blog readers are both Human. Please don’t forget this Fact.
- Writing content solely for Search Engines is Stupid unless you know how to avoid penalty and use the tactic to survive on the web.

Most of the articles I see that bloggers write are tailor made for search engines. This is the number one reason most blogs fail. I am not saying that SEO is bad, but only SEO is a definite NO-NO
